Desperate Dreams

I will never forget your sad and despaired gaze, as you turned away for the last time.
To give me a look into the most beatiful eyes of the world.
Although your eyes cried bittersweet oceans of tears, they shone brighter then stars
in the night. But deep inside I could see a piece of hope.
A hope that love is stronger, stronger then death, larger then the distance between
you and me, larger then the distance between heaven and earth.

As her spirit spreads the wings to fly away, to leave this world of pain,
She opened her mouth and whispered Beyond the door we´ll meet again.

Desperate dreams follow me, and they will never let me go. Til the time has come,
to lay my soul to rest and follow you, Desperate dreams guide me throught the night,
